Background
Most WordPress sites are built with page builders and pre-made themes. It’s quick to get started, but the result is generic, slow and hard to maintain. This client needed something different: a site built exactly for their needs — with PDF search across technical documents, cookieless analytics and proper SEO.
What I built
A custom WordPress theme and five specialized plugins — all hand-written, no unnecessary dependencies.

The Figma MCP integration means I can pull design tokens, screenshots and assets directly from the designer’s Figma file into Claude Code. No manual handoffs, no screenshots in Slack. The designer works in Figma, I build in code — MCP ties it together.
Results
What normally takes weeks with an agency took days. Not because corners were cut, but because Claude Code and MCP remove the manual work. The result is a site that’s fast, specialized and easy to maintain — without a single page builder plugin.
